El Nido

Welcome to El Nido

El Nido is the main destination for exploring Palawan’s iconic spots around Bacuit Bay. The archipelago is famous for its magical lagoons, emerald waters, towering limestone cliffs, diverse marine life, and white-sand beaches. It used to be a humble fishing village and has quickly turned into a major tourist destination in the Philippines. Tourism has now become the municipality’s main source of income. The town proper has a busy beach lined with bars and restaurants, and with a stunning view of Cadlao island just right across the shore.

El Nido is surrounded by 45 beautiful islands and islets, each has its own fascinating geological formations. El Nido is protected for its intact geological formations, unique flora and fauna and for having the most diverse ecosystems in the country.
